How to print
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Choose the day. Today is filled in; any earlier day back to the first puzzle works too. With 2 or 4 puzzles per page, the days just before the chosen day fill the page. Before the first puzzle, the field is off and practice puzzles are printed.
- Choose how many puzzles go on a page, or Large print for one big puzzle per page.
- Leave Answers on a separate page switched on if you want the solutions. They start on a new page, so you can keep them apart.
- Press Print. Your browser’s print window opens; choose a printer, or the PDF option (its name depends on the browser) to keep a file.
The preview shows the first page. The line above it says how many puzzles and pages will be printed.

Every layout fits both A4 and US Letter paper with margins of 12 mm. These sizes hold when the print window prints at 100 per cent; if it offers Fit to page or a scale, choose Actual size or 100%. Leave Margins at Default.
Answer pages hold up to four solutions each, at the size of the 4 per page layout (9 mm cells). Digits that were given in the puzzle are bold; the digits you had to find are in italics.
Which puzzles you get
The puzzles are the daily Sudoku puzzles of this site: one per level and day. Each has exactly one solution and is rated by the hardest technique it needs, so an easy puzzle never needs more than singles.
Only today and earlier days can be printed. The page shows and prints a puzzle only from its own day, by the date on your device.
Before the first daily puzzles open, the page prints practice puzzles of the chosen level instead: one with 1 per page or Large print, two with 2 per page, all three with 4 per page.
Example: four days on one sheet
Choose Medium, the day October 15, 2026 and 4 per page, with answers on. The first page holds the medium puzzles of October 12, 13, 14 and 15, oldest first; the second page holds their four solutions. The line above the preview reads: “4 puzzles (Medium): Monday, October 12, 2026 to Thursday, October 15, 2026. 2 pages to print.”
Print again with the day set to October 11, and you have the four days before as well.
Solving on paper
- Use a pencil. Write candidates small in the corners of a cell and erase them as you go.
- Fold the answer page away, or print without answers and check your grid later on the game page.
- Large print leaves room for candidates in every cell and is easier to read from a distance.
Frequently asked questions
- Are the answers included?
- Yes. Answers on a separate page is on at the start. The solutions begin on a new page after the puzzles.
- Is there a large-print Sudoku?
- Yes. Large print puts one puzzle on a page with 20 mm cells and larger digits. It uses the same puzzles as the other layouts.
- Can I print tomorrow’s puzzle?
- No. The site shows a puzzle, for playing or printing, only from its own day, by the date on your device.
- Do I need to download a PDF?
- No. The page prints through your browser. If you want a file, choose the PDF option as the printer in the print window; its name depends on the browser.
- Do printed puzzles count toward my streak?
- No. The streak counts puzzles solved on the site. The site does not record or save anything about printing.
